John Crane’s previous successful performance with Metastream® power transmission couplings on a mining application has helped John Crane Australia Pty. Ltd. win a new order. The order covers a trio of Metastream composite-fiber high-performance TLKW couplings — each measuring 10.35 meters in length and believed to be the largest of their type in Australia — destined for use on a ventilation fan application. The couplings and fans will be installed by project contractor Howden Australia Pty. Ltd., in the Macarthur region of New South Wales. Rugged construction, outstanding performance and a proven track record were all important factors in the selection of the John Crane couplings. Vinhomes Giảng Võ
John Crane had previously supplied a pair of nine-meter Metastream composite-fiber high-performance couplings to Howden. The lightweight composition and proven reliability of these couplings played an important part in their selection for use in the world’s largest gold mine, the Grasberg mine in Indonesia. The success of this project prompted Howden to consider Metastream composite-fiber couplings for this latest project. biệt thự Dương Nội
Having first visited the John Crane Coupling Centre of Excellence located in Rouen, France, the Howden engineers knew that John Crane had the expertise, global presence and industry knowledge to supply the couplings needed for this challenging coal mine application.
