KLE – Dresser-Rand Compressor Overhaul Project for Vietsovpetro

In 2023, Khanh Linh Equipment & Engineering (KLE) successfully executed a project to provide overhaul services for Dresser-Rand compressors (LP & HP) for Vietsovpetro – one of Vietnam’s key operators in the oil and gas sector.

The scope of work included the overhaul of two rotor assemblies of the Dresser-Rand compressors. All repair and refurbishment activities were carried out at Sulzer’s workshop in the USA, a globally recognized partner with leading expertise in industrial equipment maintenance and repair.

The contract was signed in August 2023. Following a strictly controlled execution process in compliance with international technical standards and quality control requirements, the rotor assemblies were completed, inspected, accepted, and delivered to Vietsovpetro in early April 2024, fully meeting the project schedule and operational requirements.

Close coordination among KLE, Vietsovpetro, and Sulzer played a key role in ensuring project quality, while enhancing the reliability and operational performance of the compressor system throughout its service lifecycle.

Through this project, KLE continues to reaffirm its capabilities in delivering high-quality technical solutions and industrial services, accompanying customers and partners across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, and Industry.
